Year 6 Integrated Studies

The Year 6 students have enjoyed exploring Australia’s regional neighbours. They have improved their understanding of various nations with a project that investigated the culture, food, religion, and customs that are relevant to the nation they are studying. Students have also gained a better understanding of the demographics of Asia. They have compared world poverty statistics, investigated world languages and religion, for example, and worked at creating data using Excel to present their findings using various forms of graphs.

Year 6 Excursion to Polly Woodside

The Year 6 students had the opportunity to visit Polly Woodside. They enjoyed exploring the merchant ship and had fun doing on-deck activities. Students gained an understanding of the difficulties that may be endured during sea exploration.
